About Coach Tilo

Born and raised in San Francisco, I’ve been passionate about health and fitness my entire life. Now, as I approach my 40s, my focus is on sustainable fitness—creating strength, mobility, and endurance that lasts a lifetime. I believe in training for longevity, and I bring that mindset into every session with my clients.

I love lifting heavy and feeling strong, but I also prioritize mobility, cardio, and recovery. My active lifestyle includes running 10Ks, playing basketball, and hiking with my family, so I train with the goal of staying strong and capable for the long haul—and I help my clients do the same.

Before becoming a full-time personal trainer, I spent several years as a P.E. and Health teacher at Stuart Hall in San Francisco, where I discovered my passion for coaching and helping others move better.

I'm a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and hold a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco.

Now based in San Rafael, I live with my wife and two young daughters. My favorite part of being a trainer is building genuine relationships with my clients. I believe that fitness should be challenging—but also fun, fulfilling, and something you look forward to. My sessions usually involve as much sweat as they do laughter.
